Bikes/walking

The Club recommends bicycles as the ideal means of transport to the Launch, and to this end have enlisted the Rat Patrol to lead a bicycle convoy to the Hall through the Inner North of Canberra. Meet at Edgars, Ainslie shops, at 11am..

The Hall is a brisk 2 kilometre walk from Civic. Floriade is opening that day so walkers and bikers could choose to leave a bit early and stop in on the way.

Buses

Action's Intertown 900 runs every 15 minutes through Belconnen, Civic, Woden, Erindale and Tuggeranong, stopping just outside the Hall. The last bus to the City leaves at approx. 11.45 pm. The last bus going South leaves Civic at 11.25pm.

There is an underpass (marked in green below) from the bus stop on the eastern side of Commonwealth Ave to the Hall.

Cars/taxis

The Club recommends parking cars in the car parks off Langton St. Follow the routes marked in red below.

A taxi from Civic ought to cost about $6.
